Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Tours in Golden British Columbia. Alpine Rafting offers two distinct stand up paddle board tours. These tours are suitable for the adventurous and no prior experience is required. Choose from an afternoon tour along the Kicking Horse River and Columbia Rivers, or a day adventure travelling the historic Beaver Rivers and Kicking Horse River. A wild, scenic and remote tour that will bring you up close and personal with stunning Wapta Falls,  and breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies and Kootenay Mountain Ranges.  This tour is more urban in nature than our 10 AM tour. We travel through the town of Golden on our Stand Up Paddleboards on the Kicking Horse River. We SUP to the terminus of the Kicking Horse River, to where the Kicking Horse River and Columbia River meet where we continue downstream on the Columbia River. The water is moving, however there is no whitewater. Suitable for the adventurous. No previous experience is required. You will return to the office at around 7pm.

We're going to get you all setup for your day out on the water with us! We've got justabout everything you need! Alpine Rafting will provide a Wetsuit, Neoprene Boots, Goretex Spray Jacket, Lifejacket and Helmet. We also have neoprene gloves onboard for your comfort. However, you may want to bring a fleece or wool sweater to wear as an extra layer of warmth on top of the wetsuit but underneath the spray jacket. It will probably get wet!

We hope you can keep your river date with us. But, sometimes life happens and you need to cancel.  When you book, we collect a 50% deposit to reserve your seats. The remaining 50% will be collected the evening prior to your trip departure. Your deposit is fully refundable up until 72 hours prior to trip departure. Within the 72 hours, we would keep the deposit. If for some reason you 'no-show' on the day of your trip, 50% of your deposit will be refunded to your credit, and the other 50% retained by Alpine Rafting. We also have a $5 Per Person Cancellation Insurance that you can purchase upon checkout that waives the 72 hour cancellation period. Have more questions?
