O.K. so your ready to go rafting! What next?
What do I wear? What can I bring with me?
Alpine Rafting has all the gear you will need! All you need to do is wear your swim suit under your clothes when you come, bring a towel and maybe sunglass (with straps!). If it’s a cooler day, or early in the season, a fleece sweater (or wool, but defiantly not cotton!) is also a good idea.
Got a waterproof camera?
Great, bring it along. You can also record your trip with a Go Pro (rentals available at the office) to show all your friends what they missed out on.
There’s no room for a bag or anything else on the raft so if you bring a bag, it would have to stay on the bus. If you have any medication you need to have with you, your guide can help you out with that.
What about food?
There will be water and snacks so you don’t need to bring anything else with you!
Anything else?
Personally, to prepare to go rafting, I usually make sure I’m rested up. It’s going to be a day of endurance and excitement! I’ll save the wobbly pops for after the trip, when I’m back at camp (sure don’t want to do this hungover)!
The best part is that you don’t need any experience! All skill levels will have a great time on the river!
